About the Role:
- Serves as the financial leader for CIS, overseeing all local accounting operations
- Ensures accurate and timely financial reporting (monthly, quarterly, annual)
- Maintains strong internal controls and compliance with GAAP and organizational policies
- Supports operational leadership with financial guidance and strategic insight
- Plays a key role in audits, regulatory compliance, and overall financial integrity
How You’ll Drive Our Mission Forward:
- Lead core accounting functions including payroll, accounts payable, and general ledger
- Oversee and execute the month-end close process in alignment with reporting timelines
- Provide financial analysis on performance, budgets, and trends to guide decision-making
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve operational efficiency
- Advise leadership on financial strategies and accounting matters
- Mentor, train, and develop accounting staff to build a strong, effective team
What Makes You a Great Match:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Controller, Accounting Manager, or similar role
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and experience with multi-location financial reporting
- Proficiency in ERP systems, ERP systems and advanced MS Excel skills. CIS utilizes NetSuite as its GL and AP ERP system and UKG as its Payroll ERP system
- Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication abilities
- Ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights
