CTVSA/Cor Value is looking to fill the role of a Revenue Cycle Manager. This is a full-time salaried position based in the western suburbs. A qualified applicant will be autonomous, conscientious, meticulously organized, and able to meet the requirements below.
Position Description:
Maintain working knowledge of coding & billing best practices and standards
o Review & improve company-wide policies governing revenue cycle
o Monitor employee’s productivity and accuracy
o Ensure patient payment deposits are made expeditiously
o Manage cash drawer reconciliation for all offices
o Answer & follow up on patient billing phone calls in a timely manner
o Verify patient account information is accurate
o Review patient and account workques; follow up with patients and/or insurance companies
o Review and follow up on correspondence in lockbox
Oversee complete revenue cycle and all staff including Coding, Billing, Payment Posting, and Customer Service
o Review coding for accuracy
o Ensure compliance with current coding guidelines and communicate any changes to all staff and management
o Review denials and refunds to identify trends and areas for improvement
o Generate and present month-end reports to company leadership
o Manage clearinghouse and identify and resolve issues
Utilize process improvement tools and quality control
o Investigate and resolve billing and collection issues for the group
o Audit and research issues of non-payment
o Implement process for improvements to facilitate appropriate billing and collections
o Resolve issues in EMR to maximize coding
o Create and monitor quality measures for revenue cycle
o Report quarterly measures and improvements
Assist in the growth of client base
o Build customer relationships and identify leads
o Present products/services
Position Requirements:
- Solid understanding of medical billing and coding, including clearinghouse, EFTs, EOBs, and ERAs
- Excellent customer service skills
- Attention to detail, self-motivated, ability to meet deadlines, etc.
- Effective interpersonal communication and management skills
o Ability to communicate with all personnel – from administrative staff to executives
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint & Access)
- Epic EMR, Availity Clearinghouse experience is preferred
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently & reprioritize when necessary
- Ability to maintain HIPAA compliance and confidentiality of sensitive information
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree preferred

Pay: $78,000.00 - $84,000.00 per year
