Medical Collections Specialist:
Seeking an experienced medical collections clerk with 3 years of experience in medical practice collections, billing, or other similar position. Job responsibilities include communicating directly with patients to collect outstanding balances, taking phone payments, manage payment plans, and ensure accurate account information. Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing with co-workers, patients, outside collection agencies, and various vendors. Rotating phone duty to speak to patients or insurance carriers about patient accounts. Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines. Applicants must have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced setting. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required. We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package.
