Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain web applications using technologies such as Next.js and NestJS
- Build and maintain production applications end-to-end, including frontend, backend, and API development
- Integrate internal and third-party services, ensuring resilient, secure, and well-documented interactions
- Design and manage relational database schemas using Prisma ORM and Liquibase
- Ensure solutions meet stringent requirements for security, privacy, compliance, and reliability
- Support and integrate Python-based machine learning applications, ensuring reliable interoperability between ML systems (e.g. MLflow) and customer-facing products.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and drive improvements to system reliability, scalability, and developer workflows
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., AI, compliance, sales, lab technicians, executive teams, etc.) to translate requirements into technical solutions
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 5 years of proven experience as a Software Engineer
- 1 years of experience with fast-paced startup or small-company environments
- 1 years of experience collaborating with non-technical stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, adapt in a fast-paced environment, and stay current with emerging technologies
- Highly self-motivated, resourceful, and proactive with strong communication and collaboration skills
- Experience designing and operating distributed, production-grade systems
- Proficiency in TypeScript, React, and modern CSS frameworks such as Tailwind CSS
- Strong understanding of database design and management, with hands-on experience using Prisma ORM or similar tools
- Proven ability to design and implement RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in healthcare, biotech, or other regulated-data environments
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as HIPAA, SOC 2, or similar
- Experience with AWS, particularly Cognito, RDS, and App Runner, for secure and scalable cloud-based deployments
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps workflows, and agile development methodologies
Compensation & Employment Details:
- Salary Range: $100,000 – $145,000, commensurate with experience
- This position is salary-only; bonuses are not included
- Comprehensive Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage
- 401(k) and Roth 401(k) plans with company match up to the Safe Harbor limit
- Hybrid work model: 4 days in-office and 1 remote day each week
- Additional flexibility: 5 extra remote days provided every 6 months

Salary : $100,000 - $145,000
