Purpose of Position:
The primary function of a Receiving Technician is to organize and supply material resources required for production. The job tasks of this position include, but are not limited to: unloading trucks, warehouse management, inventory tracking, and delivering materials with a PIV.
|

Essential Functions:
- Verbally and electronically communicate with other team members on the line to coordinate resources. This includes but is not limited to email, radio, verbal and written communications.
- Operate the forklift to deliver material.
- When vinyl is delivered using the forklift, the operator may need to unpack boxes by cutting straps with a utility knife and using a hoist to bring the vinyl rolls into the vinyl room. The hoist moves freely so two hands are mandatory in maintaining control of the hoist and vinyl rolls.
- Manage warehouse inventory.
- Load and unload any other material arriving at the plant.

- Basic computer skills to accomplish copying, scanning, and printing documents.

Additional Responsibilities
- Assist in other areas as needed.
- Accept more challenging assignments as experience and knowledge allow.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Requires regular, in-person attendance at the facility.
- Able to work as part of a team including but not limited to members of management, team members throughout Cardinal and vendors.
- Able to exercise good judgement in decision making, ideas, and all aspects relating to the AMLG team, Cardinal Glass Industries, and other company relationships.
- Able to maintain a professional appearance and conduct, exhibiting a respectful and courteous demeanor at all times.
- Lifting up to 50 lbs.

- Schedule knowledge/experience
- Warehouse experience
- Resources/material handling experience
- Forklift operating experience
- OSHA 10 Certification
- Lean 101 Certification
