Shipping and Receiving Forklift Operator

Position summary: Work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment preparing shipments for our customers both domestically and internationally.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Get customer orders ready and pack them up for shipment
• Load and unload machines and parts with sit down and stand up forklifts
• Coordinate all domestic and international outbound shipments
• Receive large boxes on warehouse dock, scan product with RF Scanner, and input product information into computer
• Demonstrates basic material handling/packaging/warehouse equipment skills
• Shipping items with UPS and Fed Ex Shipping Software
• Palletize large items to skid and wrap for shipment
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition
• Comply with all company processes, procedures, guidelines, quality directives and safety procedures.
• Meet hourly established distribution quotas and performance standards
• Multi-task in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Operate a forklift as required to move raw and finished goods.

· Demonstrates effective oral communication skills

· Assist with other tasks when necessary

Qualifications:

• 1-2 Years of shipping experience
• 2 years of forklift experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Ability to move fast in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with Microsoft office products and general computer skills desired - Experience with inventory control and conducting inventory cycle counts

• Must pass drug test, physical and background check

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift to 50 lbs
• Ability to stand entire shift
• Requires routine lifting, bending, leaning, kneeling, etc.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $23.50 per hour
