What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inventory Coordinator HN position at Cardinal?
Essential Job Functions
- Always keep the Inventory in balance and as accurate as possible.
- Cycle count.
- Direct the full month end Inventory process, including physical inventory count.
- Have a strong understanding of:
- Receiving process/Paperwork
- Coating Information Flow (Shop Floor System)
- Shipping for both CTO and HV/Paperwork
- Glass movement throughout the plant
- Reconciliation of tags to Item Master.
- Familiar with Inventory System and corresponding reports.
- Train individuals on Inventory related processes.
- Knowledgeable to the point that any issues can be quickly identified so that training can occur to rectify the issue in the future.
- Knowledgeable of E1 and shop floor processes for coater production paperwork.
- Control and maintain rack asset tracking program and able to send reports.
Non-essential Job Functions
- Assist Glass Purchasing/Scheduling Manager with stocking levels.
- Assist Warehouse Manager/Supervisor with receiving/shipping processes and issues.
Requirements
- The ability to adhere to the company’s policies, rules and regulations, according to the employee’s handbook.
- Familiar with the data flow and processes as they relate to Glass Inventory.
- Maintain a working knowledge of the glass sizes, mils and coatings.
- Follow rules and regulations, in order to avoid any appearance of impropriety.
- Ability to adapt and learn as new processes are developed.
- To maintain area in a clean and orderly fashion by the end of each workday
- Self motivated – able to work productively with limited supervision
