Overview
The Fleet Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for maintaining the preventative maintenance schedule of a full-service luxury transportation company. Oversees all aspects of data collection and dissemination regarding the maintenance and downtime in accordance with company standards and values. Adheres to manufacturer recommended preventative maintenance schedules. Maintains parts inventory to ensure downtime is minimized. Fosters a culture of respect, cooperation and open communication by modeling these behaviors.
Responsibilities:
75%:
- Manages the data collection, entry and dissemination pertinent to manufacturers recommended preventative maintenance schedules
- Coordinate preventative maintenance schedule of fleet vehicles based on manufacturer recommended schedules
- Develop, implement, or evaluate maintenance policies and procedures.
- Inspect, test, and measure completed work, using devices such as hand tools or gauges to verify conformance to standards or repair requirements.
- First echelon maintenance such as checking/filling fluids, tire pressure, lug nuts, battery cables, etc.
20%:
- Track vehicle down time and evaluates data for trends
- Monitor tool and part inventories and the condition and maintenance of shops to ensure adequate working conditions.
- Monitor garage to ensure it remains safe, secure and well maintained.
- As needed minor repairs
5%:
- Requisition materials and supplies, such as tools, equipment, or replacement parts.
- Meet with vendors or suppliers to discuss products used in repair work.
- Assist with phones as needed
Required qualifications:
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Inventory management experience
- Understanding of vehicle maintenance concepts
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
- 2 years in customer service-related work
- Good driving record
- CDL – B with passenger endorsement
- Pass a Drug Test
- Pass a DOT physical
Desired qualifications:
- 3 years customer service experience
- Experience using apps for business
- Experience with Fleetio Fleet Maintenance Software a plus
Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
