What You’ll Do
As a Care Aide, you will provide hands-on support to residents based on their individual care and support plans. You will:
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, mobility, transfers, and other personal needs.
- Support resident independence, choice, dignity, and quality of life.
- Build positive relationships with residents and communicate respectfully with families, coworkers, and community leaders.
- Observe changes in resident needs or condition and communicate concerns promptly.
- Complete required documentation accurately and on time.
- Help maintain a clean, safe, comfortable home for our residents, including support with laundry, cleaning, meals, and other daily community needs.
- Follow established safety, care, infection-control, and regulatory requirements.
- Support teammates during busy periods and contribute to a reliable, positive working environment.

The best Care Aides are people we can count on. They show up prepared, treat residents with respect, communicate when something is wrong, and take ownership of the work in front of them.
You do not need years of senior living experience to succeed here. You do need the right mindset: care about people, be willing to learn, and follow through on what you say you will do.
What We’re Looking For
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English sufficiently to perform resident-care and safety responsibilities.
- Ability to assist with wheelchairs, transfers, and resident mobility.
- Ability to walk for extended periods, bend frequently, and lift up to 50 pounds as required.
- Current First Aid and CPR/AED certification, or willingness to complete required training through Cardinal Senior Living.
- Previous senior living, assisted living, memory care, healthcare, or direct-care experience is preferred, but not required.
- Valid driver’s license preferred.
