What are the responsibilities and job description for the Resident Care Assistant position at Lakeshore Adult Foster Care?
We are looking to hire for 1 positions for Resident Care Aide to join our team and provide compassionate care to our residents. This is a part time position with availability to work a range of hours. This candidate will be working with the elderly and be able to assist with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, meal preparation, housekeeping, and medication management. Must be knowledgeable and able to interact with residents for this position. The Resident Aide will also be responsible for providing emotional support and companionship to our residents. Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and eating.
- Provide emotional support to residents and their families.
- Observe and report changes in resident behavior or condition.
- Help maintain a safe and secure environment for residents.
- Assist with recreational activities.
- Ensure that all medications are taken as prescribed.
- Document resident care in accordance with regulations.
Job Types: Part-time
Salary: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour depending on work knowledge and quality. $1 more than starting pay on midnights
