Security Officer / Concierge
Join our team as a Security Concierge and be a key part of ensuring the safety and luxury experience for residents of an apartment complex in Lancaster, PA. In this role, you will be the first point of contact, managing building access, assisting residents and guests, and maintaining a secure and welcoming environment, which includes actively monitoring surveillance systems.
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Location: Lancaster, PA
Schedule: To be determined based on assignment.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Be an Ambassador for Cardinal Point Security Group: Be punctual and professional, maintain a sharp appearance in proper uniform, stay engaged, and provide consistent, reliable service.
Concierge Services: Greet residents and guests with a friendly and professional demeanor.
Access Control: Manage and monitor entrances and exits, verify visitor credentials, and issue guest passes.
Surveillance Monitoring: Actively monitor security cameras and alarm systems to identify and address any suspicious activity or security breaches.
Foot Patrol: Conduct regular patrols of the lobby, common areas, and exterior grounds.
Resident Assistance: Handle resident inquiries, accept packages, escort residents, and coordinate with property management.
Incident Response: Respond promptly to alarms or suspicious activity, following established protocols.
Reporting: Maintain detailed and accurate logs of all activities, including access logs, surveillance observations, and incident reports.
Collaboration: Work with on-site management, emergency services and law enforcement as needed.
Basic Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of security or hospitality experience; prior experience in law enforcement preferred.
High School Diploma or GED
Background Requirements:
Completion of a criminal background check. No felony or misdemeanor convictions involving moral turpitude. Must be able to pass a mandatory drug screen.
Skills:
Strong observational and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Proficiency in monitoring surveillance equipment.
Ability to remain calm, professional, and effective under pressure.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to perform physical tasks such as walking and standing during patrols.
Capability to sit for extended periods while monitoring surveillance systems.
