Purpose and description
LM/S manager is responsible to manage daily activities of the Landscape maintenance and snowplowing crews. LM/S manager is responsible for scheduling the workload, labor, and equipment to complete the work, in the most efficient and effective manner. LM/S manager will work directly with the OM and other office staff to perform LM/S duties. LM/S will assist OM with hiring, training and professional development of LM/S personnel. LM/S will strive to build a LM/S division that is well trained, efficient and provides the Customer with a professional finished product.
Responsibilities/Activities
1. Scheduling and daily dispatch of crews for LM/S activities.
2. Schedule appropriate labor and equipment to complete the work.
3. Provide crew with daily work sheets and job sheets
4. Create a safe working environment for all employees
5. Review employee daily job sheets and timesheets for accuracy. Enter time on job to target sheet.
6. Review and manage current LM/S customers and assist VP/O in securing new customers.
7. Communicate daily with mechanics and ensure constant availability of necessary equipment and supplies.
8. Assist OM with tool inventory for LM/S crews.
9. Train new and existing employees safe, efficient, quality work practices.
10. Review with OM any additional workforce labor needs.
11. Perform weekly/monthly/annual reviews of LM/S employees
12. Manage LM/S employee vacations, time off request, and bonus deductions, etc.
13. Responsible for timely and accurate paperwork from LM/S personnel
14. Assist OM with the safety program and conduct necessary safety meetings.
15. Report Incidents/accident reports for LM/S employees.
16. Manage job hours to stay within contract estimate
Education:
Associate's Degree (or other 2-year degree)
OR time on Job equivalency
Post-Secondary Certificate - awarded for training completed after high school (for example, in Personnel Services, Engineering-related Technologies, Vocational Home Economics, Construction Trades, Mechanics and Repairers, Precision Production Trades)

Pay: $67,972.00 - $85,000.00 per year
