As a Transport Manager, you will play a critical role in maintaining and leading a high-performing transportation team. Key Responsibilities:
Lead transportation operations , ensuring smooth and ongoing efficiency.
- Recruit, hire, and onboard CDL drivers, leveraging your professional network to attract top talent.
- Manage and maintain a fleet of vehicles, ensuring they meet safety and maintenance standards.
- Oversee route planning and logistics to optimize efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local transportation regulations.
- Develop and implement safety programs, ensuring adherence to company and regulatory standards.
- Monitor and manage transportation budgets and performance metrics.
- Foster a positive, collaborative work environment that encourages accountability and high performance.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in transportation management, logistics, or a related field.
- Strong network of professional contacts, particularly in the CDL driver community, with a demonstrated ability to attract and retain talent.
- Excellent leadership and team-building skills.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency with transportation management software and tools.
