Cardinal CG, a state-of-the-art glass manufacturing plant, is currently hiring a Maintenance Technician. In this position, you will be responsible for preventive and reactive maintenance for a high-volume production line. Our ideal candidate will have good industrial maintenance and mechanical skills that will be able to improve and streamline our existing processes. Must be able to work as a team to achieve a common goal and be initiative-taking by prioritizing tasks based on plant and production needs.

12 hour rotating night shift 7pm to 7am. $26.50 - $28.00

Responsibilities

• Promote and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Perform daily preventative and reactive maintenance on production equipment as assigned.
• Respond to and troubleshoot factory equipment and building/grounds issues as they arise with the goal to get the factory back up running in a safe and timely manner.
• Good understanding of 3-phase power.
• Design and plan specialty maintenance projects.
• Weld and fabricate equipment as required.
• Maintain all work areas in clean organized fashion after every shift and project.
