- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Support current and future business needs through development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital.
- Advise managers on organizational policy matters.
- Foster positive management and employee relations by addressing concerns, complaints, and other issues.
- Manage the recruitment and selection process.
- Manage the onboarding process, including administration of New Hire Orientation
- Oversee recruitments, interviews, selection, and hiring process.
- Educate and inform employees on benefits.
- Benefits enrollment administration.
- Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs.
- Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics.
- Ensure State and Federal legal compliance, including FMLA, ADA, FLSA, etc.
- Administer Workers Compensation Claims
- Oversee and administer hourly payroll process for 300 hourly staff.
- Policy development and Employee Handbook writing/maintenance partnered with management.
- Perform other related duties as required or assigned.

- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or four years’ experience in HR for manufacturing.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
- Comfortable performing multifaceted projects in conjunction with day-to-day activities.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Thorough knowledge of employment related laws and regulations.
- Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS system.
- Position is 100% at the plant.
