DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

• Works anywhere in the plant, as needed.
• Performs work as directed by supervision.
• Keeps the work area clean and organized.
• Moves racks of glass and other items from one area of the plant to another as needed.
• Willing and able to learn how to operate Rico
• Reads and comprehends safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedural manuals, along with other similar documents.
• Communicate with other departments as needed.
• Wear all the required personal protective equipment (PPE) for the specific job. Wears all the required personal protective equipment for the specific job.
• Works as a Cardinal team member, not a specific department member.
• Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

Required Skills/Abilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Forklift experience required.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to operate hand switches and knobs.
• Ability to operate the overhead crane while changing the battery.
• Ability to use pen/pencil to complete documentation clearly.
• Ability to memorize the names and sizes of all types of racks.
• Must possess basic inventory knowledge.
• Must be computer literate and be familiar with Microsoft Office and Strada.
