Position Summary:
Cardinal Gibbons High School in Fort Lauderdale, Florida has an opening for a qualified Mathematics teacher for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. This teacher will be expected to plan, organize and implement an appropriate instructional program for high school Mathematics, particularly Algebra, Geometry, or Algebra 2. The High School Mathematics teacher performs all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision and values of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami.
Education:
- High School or GED
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Education, or related field
Certifications: Mathematics 6-12
Years of Experience: 3 years or more
Software Skills: Google Suite, Notability, iPad
- Knowledge and skill in use of instructional technology, including iPads, in the classroom.
- Must be supportive and respectful of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church; experience in the Roman Catholic environment preferred.
- Excellent presentation skills with skill in use of instructional technologies.
- Must have excellent classroom management skills and have demonstrated ability to engage students.
- Exemplify professionalism in behavior and performance.
