SUMMARY OF TASKS
A Production Operator is responsible for the operation and sanitation of highly technical equipment including but not limited to processing and packaging equipment as well as on floor quality control.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Operation of Tetra Pak processing equipment and/or downline case packing equipment
· Follow HACCP and Food Safety requirements
· Perform basic daily maintenance
· Sanitation of area and equipment including CIP and chemical handling
· Quality Control Documentation
· Data entry and paperwork
· Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
· Strong level of commitment and dedication
· Ability to work well individually or in a team
QUALIFICATIONS
· Food Processing Experience required
· Pasteurizer and/or UHT Experience considered an asset
· Tetra Pak Experience considered an asset
· Forklift Operation considered an asset
· Must have general knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook)
· Ability to trouble shoot and/or problem solve
· High level of accuracy and attention to detail
· Strong communication skills
· Ability to work overtime
· Job Specific Training to be provided
