Responsibilities
- Provide attentive care for preschoolers in a safe and nurturing environment
- Assist with daily routines such as feeding, nap times, and hygiene practices
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development
- Support children with disabilities or special needs by implementing individualized care plans
- Implement behavior management strategies to encourage positive behavior and social skills
- Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times and respond promptly to emergencies with first aid if necessary
- Collaborate with parents and team members to communicate children's progress and needs
- Maintain a clean and organized environment conducive to learning and play
Skills
- Experience with early childhood education, daycare, or babysitting roles
- Knowledge of childhood development stages and behavior management techniques
- First aid certification preferred; willingness to obtain if not already certified
- Strong ability to work with children with disabilities or special needs
- Excellent caregiving skills with a focus on safety and nurturing care
- Classroom experience or preschool experience is highly desirable
- Ability to engage children through teaching, play, and developmental activities
- Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills
- Patience, adaptability, and a genuine passion for child development
Pay: From $12.89 per hour
