Duties
- Safely operate equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, cranes, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Manage inventory control through accurate stock counting, replenishment, and organization using RF scanners and warehouse management systems like AS400.
- Assist in shipping and receiving responsibilities, unloading trucks and checking in merchandise.
- Support shipping and receiving activities by verifying inbound and outbound shipments, inspecting goods for damages, and maintaining detailed logs.
- Handle materials with mechanical knowledge for heavy lifting tasks, including stacking pallets and organizing stock in designated areas.
- Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to OSHA standards and proper safety protocols during all warehouse operations.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize warehouse distribution processes and improve overall efficiency.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers with familiarity in inventory management systems.
- Valid certification or experience operating heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, cranes, or order pickers.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic repairs or troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to warehouse work and heavy equipment operation.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently on a regular basis.
- Experience with inventory control methods including RF scanners, AS400 systems, or similar warehouse management systems.

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
