We're looking for an experienced Licensed P&C Account Representative to join our team and help us continue providing exceptional service to our growing client base.
The Opportunity
This is a great opportunity for an insurance professional who enjoys helping clients, solving problems, managing details, and building long-term relationships.
You will work directly with our personal insurance clients, handling day-to-day service needs while identifying opportunities to improve their coverage and overall insurance experience.
What You'll Do
- Provide friendly, knowledgeable service to personal insurance clients
- Handle policy changes, certificates, ID cards, billing questions, renewals, and other service requests
- Review client needs and recommend appropriate coverage changes or additional protection
- Prepare applications, quotes, submissions, and other insurance documentation
- Communicate with insurance carriers regarding underwriting, policy changes, claims, and client requests
- Follow up with clients and carriers to ensure requests are completed accurately and on time
- Assist with new business opportunities and cross-selling when appropriate
- Review existing accounts for coverage gaps and opportunities
- Maintain accurate and organized client records
- Build strong, lasting relationships with clients and insurance company representatives
- Work closely with the agency team to provide an exceptional client experience
- Follow agency procedures and maintain compliance with applicable insurance requirements
What We're Looking For
Required:
- Active Ohio Property & Casualty insurance license
- Previous experience working in an insurance agency
- Strong customer-service and communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organization
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Professional, dependable, and positive attitude
- Comfortable working independently while being part of a team
- Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office
Preferred:
- 2 years of personal lines or commercial lines experience
- Experience with an independent insurance agency
- Experience with an agency management system
- Experience quoting and servicing multiple insurance carriers
- Life & Health license is a plus, but not required
Compensation & Benefits
- $28–$32 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
