What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Operations Coordinator position at Carahsoft?
Coordinates daily sales operations and supports the sales team by managing systems and processes that drive revenue growth. Enables the success of the sales team through data analysis, process optimization, and cross-team collaboration. Assists sales teams with backend processes that support account management and lead generation. Analyzes performance data and compiles actionable insights to improve operational efficiency and to resolve day-to-day challenges.
This role is a hybrid schedule based out of our office in Reston, VA.
Overall Responsibilities:
- Utilizes Microsoft Office and internal CRM (CarahSell) to organize and analyze data and generate reports (ROI, Sales Performance, LAS Participation, etc.)
- Resolves day-to-day challenges for the sales teams to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
- Develops internal reference materials including standard operating procedures (SOP), checklists, and training guides.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams such as IT, Database Development Team, Customer Operations (COT), Contracts, and Sales to develop solutions to support company initiatives and resolve operational challenges.
- Coordinates sales activities and maintains CRM system (CarahSell) to ensure accurate tracking of leads, tagging, opportunities, revenue metrics, and ensures overall data hygiene.
- Creates streamlined processes and implements best practices to improve sales efficiency, project delivery and data accuracy.
- Communicates effectively with the sales team and leadership to relay insights, updates, and recommendations for operational enhancements.
- Assists in creating internal reference materials (CarahExpert page, SharePoint, and Resource Hub) designed to enable teams to achieve greater success.
- Works with representatives on larger order issues and disputes; updates billing report and orders that have been processed. Handles the missed rebate process.
- Generates actionable insights from market research and performance analysis to support continuous sales growth.
- Tracks new orders and verifies eligible accounts.
- Performs contract price auditing and maintenance and handles vendor and reseller agreement requests.

Salary : $40,000 - $50,000
