Carabetta Property Management is actively seeking a skilled and reliable Carpenter to join our team and contribute to our residential and commercial construction and remodeling projects.
This role is ideal for someone who has strong hands-on skills and a commitment to maintain high standards of craftsmanship.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Perform residential and commercial construction and remodeling tasks using proper tools, materials, and techniques.
- Complete stain-grade trim work, hang doors, install door hardware, set windows, and frame stairs and common rafters.
- Read and interpret blueprints and project specifications.
- Apply mathematical and analytical skills to complete material estimates and layout work.
- Ensure quality control and adhere to safety standards on all job sites.
- Collaborate with property managers, maintenance staff, and contractors to keep projects on schedule.
- Assist in resolving on-site issues and conflicts promptly and collaboratively.
- Coordinate the necessary steps and materials needed for each assigned task.
- Maintain accurate records of completed work, materials used, and associated costs.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of residential/commercial carpentry experience with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Proficiency in frame carpentry techniques, drywall installation, and trim skills.
- Familiarity with cabinet installation processes.
- Ability to work in all areas and aspects of construction projects.
- Ability to climb ladders up to 60 feet, crawl up to 50 feet and lift and carry up to 80 pounds for distances of up to 50 feet.
- High attention to detail and a strong commitment to safety.
- Ability to work independently and as a team while managing multiple priorities.
- Ability to operate various power tools and handle lumber and construction materials safely for extended periods of time.
- Have a strong understanding of building codes and safety regulations.
- Must be comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor environments in varying weather conditions.
- Valid driver’s license is REQUIRED.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus!
