What are the responsibilities and job description for the Office Assistant Manager position at Car-Part?
Primary Purpose:
Assists in managing and overseeing the duties and responsibilities of administrative office employees
Major Tasks and Responsibilities:
Assists manager with the processes and dissemination of work tasks and responsibilities to the Administrative Team Members expeditiously and consistent with the skill set of the staff.
Assists manager with providing support and coordinating timelines for completion of various tasks and special projects with other department managers.
Attend meetings on behalf of the manager and take notes as needed to keep her updated on changes needed communicated to the team.
Assists in identifying back-ups and ensure appropriate training occurs.
Manage time off requests of team members and get with manager with necessary.
Work with HR to recruit & onboard new employees. Lead new employee orientation and be main contact for them.
Assist in managing team performance. Provide coaching and guidance for employee development. Handle personnel issues and keep manager informed of statuses of issues.
Identify opportunities for process and office management improvements, and design and implement new systems.
Identify opportunities to update documentation on processes for team and keep them up to date on the wiki.
Communicate effectively with management, coworkers, and external customers.
Attend team meetings.
Take initiative to learn and expand role.
Perform other tasks and have such other responsibilities as assigned by Car-Part from time to time.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $48, $52,000.00 per year
