Responsibilities

• Assist in overseeing daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, service flow, and staff coordination to maintain high standards of quality and efficiency.
• Support staff training initiatives to ensure team members are knowledgeable about food safety, POS systems such as Aloha and Micros, and customer service best practices.
• Manage inventory control processes to minimize waste, optimize stock levels, and ensure proper food handling procedures are followed.
• Supervise shift management activities including scheduling, cash handling, and ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with the management team to implement food production standards, monitor kitchen operations, and maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards.
• Assist with hiring, interviewing, onboarding new team members, and providing ongoing training & development opportunities.
• Handle customer inquiries or complaints promptly to foster positive dining experiences and promote customer loyalty.
• Support profit and loss analysis efforts by monitoring sales data and managing operational costs effectively.

Experience

• Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments with a strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management.
• Demonstrated supervisory or assistant manager experience within the hospitality or restaurant industry.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and cash handling.
• Experience managing inventory control, food safety compliance, and team training programs.
• Background in casual dining or fine dining settings with knowledge of catering or banquet operations is highly desirable.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams, communicate effectively at all levels, and handle multiple priorities efficiently.
• Basic math skills for managing budgets, conducting P&L analysis, and performing shift calculations are essential.
