Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with their orders, ensuring a positive dining experience
- Operate the Aloha POS or Micros POS systems for order entry and payment processing
- Prepare food items according to safety and sanitation standards
- Upsell menu items to enhance the customer experience and increase sales
- Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery and quality service
- Adhere to food safety guidelines and sanitation protocols at all times
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
- Experience in food preparation and handling within a quick service or fast food restaurant setting
- Familiarity with POS systems, preferably Aloha or Micros
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices
- Previous culinary experience is a plus, along with general kitchen experience
- Ability to upsell products effectively while maintaining customer satisfaction
- Experience in retail math is beneficial for managing transactions
