We are representing a globally recognized FORTUNE 500 manufacturing organization who is actively seeking a Senior Engineering Manager. Reporting to the General Manager, this candidate would assume ownership over an 80 employee department while working closely with Senior leadership. This is an 1,200 employee campus, $1.2B campus.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- The Senior Engineering Manager will report to the General Manager and will be responsible for leading a department of 80 employees while assuming budgetary ownership over a 1,200 employee campus.
- Drive departmental continuous improvement initiatives inclusive of yield improvement, and process optimization.
- Provide direction and leadership consistent with company and business plan goals.
- Maintain and develop strategic relationships with key suppliers and vendors
- Direct and drive the utilization of problem solving methods for related plant and customer issues.
- Work closely with plant staff to development "HI-POT " talent
- Work cross functionally, partnering with different internal departments including Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain to ensure seamless execution of launch programs.
- Establish and track KPIs aligned with plant and business objectives
- Provide strategic input into the long-term engineering and business roadmap
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Engineering/Technical degree is required for consideration
- Candidate should have at least 3-5 years Engineering leadership experience for consideration
- Experience in high speed/fast paced manufacturing environment is required
- Ability to communicate effectively with staff and work cross functionally with others
Salary : $180,000 - $210,000
