We are representing a globally recognized Fortune 500 manufacturing organization actively seeking a Senior Maintenance Manager due to an upcoming retirement. Reporting to the General Manager, this leader will own the Maintenance and Reliability function at a 400 employee facility, overseeing a department of 40 with 6 direct reports (Maintenance Supervisors, Planners, and others).
Position Responsibilities
- Lead a Maintenance and Reliability department of 40 employees, with 6 direct reports, reporting to the General Manager
- Own the Maintenance and Reliability function end to end, including skilled trades professionals (electricians, multi-craft technicians, machine repair technicians, and others)
- Drive training and development for maintenance staff
- Oversee preventive/predictive maintenance (PM/PdM) scheduling for all plant capital equipment
- Manage relationships and performance of outside contractors and service providers
- Lead project management efforts, including equipment installation
- Collaborate cross-functionally with other plant departments to support operations
Position Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required
- 3-5 years of Plant Engineering or Maintenance Leadership experience
- Experience building and developing preventive maintenance programs
- Background in a high-speed, fast-paced manufacturing environment required
- Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally across the organization
Salary : $120,000 - $160,000
