Security Officer - On Call

Capstone is currently seeking on Call Security Officers to join our team for graveyard shifts. This role is ideal for individuals looking to earn extra income, flexible, observant, and able to work independently during overnight hours who can respond to staffing needs on short notice.

Pay Rate: $23.00/Hr.

Capstone Security is seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This position requires a proactive approach to security, with responsibilities that include monitoring premises, responding to incidents, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

• Responsibilities
• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
• Incident Management: Oversee and respond to security incidents, ensuring timely and effective resolution. Prepare detailed reports for management review.
• Customer Service: Maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their security needs and concerns with professionalism and efficiency.
• Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations, providing first aid or CPR as necessary.
• Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment to identify potential security risks.
• Enforce rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor in all interactions.
• Manage conflicts effectively, utilizing conflict officer skills to de-escalate situations.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary for investigations or emergencies.
• Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying theft or fraud attempts.

Qualifications

• Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
• Strong conflict officer skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Must possess a valid security officer license or certification where applicable.
• A commitment to upholding safety standards and protocols.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 1 years of officer experience in a security operations role, preferably in an security environment. Preferred Law Enforcement but is not required.
• Certification: Must hold a valid BSIS Guard Card, First Aid & CPR Certification (Preferred)
• License: Must possess valid CA Driver’s License and clean driving record. Must have reliable transportation.
• Customer Service Skills: Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
• Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Attention to Detail: High attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including standing for extended periods and responding to emergencies.
• Background Check: Must pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
