Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Transform construction document designs into constructible shop drawings for field install
- Work directly with the project management team to meet project needs
- Stay up to date on industry standards and local codes
- Utilize AutoCAD to create custom reports for material acquisition
- Work with other department employees to provide a smooth transition between the design and construction phases of a job
- Flexibility to visit jobsites to capture field conditions for use in the design phase of projects
Educational Requirements:
A.A.S. in Drafting and Design or greater is preferred

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD, Navisworks, Revit (optional)
- Good written and oral communications skills, including the ability to work equally well with potential and existing customers, support team members, and the general public
- Understanding of, and experience in, implementation of industry standards and local codes
