Medical Transport Driver (Independent Contractor)

Capstone Logistics is looking for an Independent Contractor Courier with their own vehicle (2014 or newer).

The Contractor will start the route at 4:45PM in WESTBROOK and have various stops throughout Guilford, New Haven, East Haven, Branford, Madison and Old Saybrook with the final delivery being in NEW HAVEN.

PAY: $125.00 Monday-Friday / WEEKLY DIRECT DEPOSIT

HOURS: 4:45pm TO 9:35pm

MUST BE A MOTIVATED AND SELF STARTER INDIVUDAL

All contractors are expected to safely and promptly transport all specimen while keeping open lines of communication with the Dispatch team. All routes require scanning and picture-taking so Independent Contractor must have a smart phone and be tech savvy.

These are High Priority Routes, so serious inquiries only. The Pay is weekly. All contractors sign a contract & MUST BE AVAILABLE EVERY DAY DURING THE POSTED HOURS, NO EXCEPTIONS.

Need to be able to start IMMEDIATELY!

Driver needs to understand regular attendance is important.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport medical supplies to various locations.
• Load and unload items, ensuring proper handling and care of sensitive materials.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and ensure timely deliveries.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients and addressing any concerns.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure operational safety.

MUST WORK EVERY DAY DURING THE POSTED/AGREED UPON HOURS.

Easy Requirements

• 18 years of age or older
• A valid driver’s license and current insurance
• A CLEAN Motor Vehicle Report
• Ability to meet vehicle requirements (Driver must be listed on vehicle Insurance)
• Must have and be able to use a smartphone
• All vendors will operate their own delivery vehicle. Stable routes and pay!
• No call/no shows, Repeated Call-outs: will result in termination.
