What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Route Driver/Independent Contractor position at Capstone Logistics, LLC.?
Capstone Logistics is looking for an Independent Contractor Courier with their own vehicle (2015 or newer) to pick up and deliver medical samples and medical totes to various locations in Fairfield, CT. The contractor will start and end in Fairfield CT.
All contractors are expected to Safely and promptly transport all specimen, mail and Instruments while keeping open lines of communication with the Dispatch team. All routes require scanning and picture-taking so Independent Contractor must have a smart phone and be tech savvy.
Requirements:
- Must have a valid driver’s license and active insurance (required for enrollment)
- Vehicle 2015 or newer
- Strong time management and reliability are essential
- Ability to follow all client protocols and compliance requirements
- Uniform {scrubs] and ID badge must be worn at all times while on route
Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate is dependable, punctual, and physically capable of handling a full day of walking/driving while maintaining efficiency and professionalism throughout the route.
Route: Monday to Friday, 8:20am to 3:00pm
Pay- $155.00/day
All routes are very High Priority, so serious inquiries only. The Pay is weekly. MUST WORK EVERY DAY DURING THE POSTED HOURS, NO EXCEPTIONS.
Proof of Flu vaccination is REQUIRED.
Easy Requirements

- A valid driver’s license and current insurance
- A CLEAN Motor Vehicle Report
- Ability to meet vehicle requirements (Driver must be listed on vehicle Insurance)
- Must have and be able to use a smartphone
- All vendors will operate their own delivery vehicle. Stable routes and pay!
- No call/no shows, Repeated Call-outs, without coverage, will result in termination.
