What are the responsibilities and job description for the Enterprise Document System Administrator position at Capstone IT?

Capstone IT is helping our client find a Laserfiche ECM Administrator who will own and manage the organization’s enterprise content management platform. This person will handle day-to-day administration, build and optimize document workflows, support integrations with core systems, and ensure the platform meets security and compliance standards. The role is hands-on across system administration, workflow automation, and user support.

Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain Laserfiche (repositories, access, licensing, performance)
- Design and deploy workflows using Laserfiche Forms and Workflow tools
- Manage integrations with enterprise systems (policy admin system, M365, CRM, etc.)
- Ensure compliance with document retention, governance, and security standards
- Support system upgrades, patching, and disaster recovery readiness
- Provide user support, training, and documentation
- Partner with business stakeholders to identify automation opportunities
- Maintain audit readiness and system documentation
Qualifications:
- 3 years administering Laserfiche or similar ECM platform
- Hands-on experience with Laserfiche Workflow, Forms, and Business Process tools
- Experience with SQL Server, Windows Server, IIS, Active Directory
- Understanding of compliance frameworks (NYDFS, ISO 27001, NIST)
- Experience with REST APIs and system integrations
Nice to have:
- Laserfiche Certified Professional (LCP)
- Microsoft Azure Administrator certification
Salary : $120,000 - $130,000
