Capstones early childhood education and family services are central to its mission, offering center-based and home-based Head Start and Early Head Start programs that support positive child, family, and community outcomes that use a whole-child approach and actively engage parents as partners in their childrens early learning and development. **Qualifications:** The required minimum qualifications for the Infant and Toddler Teacher include a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or comparable credential, and training or equivalent coursework in early childhood development with a focus on infant and toddler development ***What Youll Do*** -

  • Experience working with infants and toddlers is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) with young children and adults.
  • Working knowledge of community resources, parenting issues, adult learning styles, and sensitivity to the needs of low-income families.
  • Must be able to evacuate infants and toddlers from the building in a timely, efficient manner.
  • Must be able to assist toddlers in navigating stairs, playground equipment and changing tables. Must be able to quickly catch up to a fleeing toddler.
  • Reliable transportation, valid Vermont driver\'s license and proof of insurance.
  • Commitment to a flexible work schedule
