About the Role
Capozza Floor Covering Center is hiring multiple Flooring Installers to join our team, specifically candidates with ceramic tile and vinyl installation experience. This role is hands-on and focused on delivering high-quality workmanship while working closely with project managers, field leadership, and fellow team members. Installers are responsible for preparing job sites, installing flooring materials to company and manufacturer standards, maintaining tools and equipment, and helping ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and with attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, and install flooring materials according to specifications, and manufacturer guidelines.
- Prepare and clean installation areas, including removing old flooring and leveling surfaces.
- Ensure accurate installation, paying close attention to detail and quality standards.
- Coordinate with Field Supervisor regarding schedule, progress, and material needs.
- Communicate clearly and proactively with Project Managers regarding project status, materials, and any issues that arise.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles in clean and working condition.
- Perform basic repair and finishing work as needed.
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies.
- Assist team members as needed to ensure timely project completion.
- Complete all assigned tasks, including deliveries, material pickups, punch lists, cleanup, or follow-up work on subbed jobs, as requested by management.
Pay: From $25.00 per hour
