CAPO 29 is a new Italian fine dining restaurant in Saint Helena, CA. A totally open kitchen separated from the dining room by a large glass wall. Classic cuisine with a touch of French influence.
Completely new kitchen & dining room from the floor to the ceiling.
We are looking for a dependable and self-motivated Server/Barista to help operate our bakery café. Our business primarily focuses on takeout orders, with occasional dine-in guests, so the ideal candidate is comfortable multitasking and working independently during slower and busier periods alike.
This position requires availability to work Wednesday through Sunday from 7am to 2:30pm. However, initial training on systems will take place during the evening.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, and other beverages
- Greet customers and provide friendly, efficient service
- Take and process orders for both takeout and dine-in guests
- Package bakery items and maintain attractive product displays
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately
- Keep the café, dining area, and workstations clean and organized
- Restock supplies and assist with opening and closing duties
- Monitor bakery inventory and communicate restocking needs
Qualifications:
- Previous barista experience required
- Customer service and food service experience preferred
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong multitasking and time management skills
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
