Title: Medical Equipment Technician
Location: New York, NY 10037
Duration: 10 Weeks
Shift: Days
Timing: start at 10am for an 8 hour shift
Pay Rate: $28 - $30/hr on w2
Duties: Repairs, calibrates, operates and maintains all types of basic medical equipment technologies, devices, instruments and systems. Inspects, installs, and provides preventive maintenance of general equipment.
Skills: 1 year experience
Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
Notes: Much of the role would require stocking properly (checking for expired items), turning over the operating room, making sure machines (sonogram, rapid infuser) etc are clean and dusted regularly.
Very Important that candidate is able to communicate and work well with other FTEs, Nurses, Anesthesiologists, they will take orders from Nurses etc anyone who needs help really.
It’s a small department where communication and respect are important Position can go Full-Time Employment, if worker works well with the dept.
They will be using a cellphone and beeper for urgent needs so its important that they communicate when they go to lunch, break, etc.
