Creativity and communication will be critically integrated throughout each lesson. STEAM teachers work under the general supervision of their school principal, performing the essential performance responsibilities listed below.

- Develop and administer curriculum consistent with school district goals and objectives.
- Promote a classroom environment that is safe and conducive to individualized and small group instruction, and student learning.
- Develop lesson plans and instructional materials for STEAM and translate lesson plans into learning experiences to develop pertinent sequential assignments, challenge students, and best utilize the available time for instruction.
- Conduct ongoing assessment of student learning and progress, modify instructional methods to fit individual student needs; and conduct individual and small group instruction as needed.
- Follow all equipment and software safety, security, and privacy expectations.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Bachelor's Degree (BA) from four-year college or university in education discipline applicable to teaching assignment.
- Technology (047) or other relevant certification(s) as needed.
