CapitolHill Consortium for Counseling & Consultation, LLC (CCCC) is a well-established, multidisciplinary healthcare and behavioral health group practice serving clients throughout the Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia region. We are seeking one or more Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners (NP) to join our collaborative clinical team and provide high-quality, culturally responsive, patient-centered care to diverse populations across the lifespan. Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners who specialize in child, adolescent, adult, and elder care are welcome.

Dedicated Administrative Support. Our administrative team manages many of the operational demands of practice—including scheduling, billing, credentialing, insurance coordination, and patient support—allowing you to focus on delivering exceptional patient care.

  • Insurance credentialing, contracting, and authorization

  • Dedicated intakes, billing, and administrative staff for support

Key Clinical Responsibilities

Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner responsibilities include:

  • Conducting comprehensive patient assessments and health evaluations
  • Developing individualized treatment and care plans
  • Providing diagnosis and treatment within the NP's education, certification, and scope of practice
  • Medication prescriptions and management
  • Liaison with lab and pharmacies for medication and prescription management
  • Monitoring patient progress and response to treatment
  • Providing appropriate follow-up care
  • Educating patients and families regarding health conditions, treatment options, medications, wellness, and preventive care
  • Collaborating with therapists, psychologists, social workers, counselors, primary care providers, and other healthcare professionals as appropriate
  • Coordinating care and making appropriate referrals when clinically indicated
  • Maintaining timely and accurate clinical documentation
  • Providing culturally responsive, patient-centered care
  • Participating in case consultation and interdisciplinary collaboration
  • Practicing in accordance with applicable state laws, regulations, and professional scope-of-practice requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Master’s or doctoral degree in nursing from an accredited nursing program
  • Current national Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner certification appropriate to the clinical specialty and services provided
  • Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner/APRN license in Virginia or Maryland
  • Active license in Washington, D.C. licensure preferred
  • Prescriptive authority, if applicable to the position and clinical scope of practice
  • Appropriate professional credentials required to practice within the applicable jurisdiction
  • Ability to provide high-quality, ethical, patient-centered care
  • Strong commitment to culturally responsive and inclusive healthcare
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development
  • Ability to maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation

Priority consideration may be given to Nurse Practitioners licensed across two or more jurisdictions (in Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience providing patient care across the lifespan
  • Experience working within a multidisciplinary healthcare or behavioral health setting
  • Experience working with children and/or adolescents
  • Strong clinical assessment and care-planning skills
  • Availability for after-school, evening, or weekend appointments
  • Interest in serving diverse and underserved populations
  • Interest in interdisciplinary consultation, education, training, or leadership
  • Interest in developing a long-term clinical practice within a collaborative group setting

Compensation

Competitive compensation aligned with insurance reimbursement rates, with opportunities to maximize earning potential based on clinical volume.

Compensation structure is based on the position and practice arrangement. Additional performance-based compensation opportunities may be available.
