Main Shop Service Advisor

Capitol City Honda is seeking a high-performing, experienced Service Advisor who understands what it takes to succeed in a fast-paced dealership environment. Position Overview:

As a Main Shop Service Advisor, you will be responsible for managing the full customer experience—from initial write-up to final delivery—while working closely with technicians to ensure efficient, accurate, and profitable repairs. This role requires a strong balance of customer service, communication, and performance-driven results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide professional, efficient, and customer-focused service experience from start to finish
• Accurately document customer concerns and vehicle needs
• Communicate effectively with technicians to ensure proper diagnosis and repair timelines
• Present recommended services clearly, confidently, and ethically
• Maximize every opportunity while maintaining trust and transparency with customers
• Monitor and manage repair orders for accuracy, timeliness, and profitability
• Consistently meet and exceed CSE (Customer Satisfaction Excellence) expectations
• Handle challenges and objections with confidence and professionalism
• Build long-term relationships to drive retention and loyalty

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of Service Advisor experience in a dealership environment (REQUIRED)
• Strong understanding of service department operations, KPIs, and pay plans
• Proven ability to drive performance (hours per RO, effective labor rate, maintenance penetration, etc.)
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• High level of professionalism, accountability, and attention to detail
• Ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced service drive environment
• Strong focus on customer satisfaction and long-term relationship building
• Has experience with DealerTrack and Xtime, (preferably but not required)
