Capitol Aggregates is seeking a Technical Services Intern to join our team and support key product testing, data analysis, and customer support activities. This role offers hands-on experience in laboratory testing with cement, mortar, concrete, and aggregates while also providing exposure to technical service operations. Working alongside experienced professionals, you’ll gain valuable knowledge of quality standards, customer engagement, and product performance in the construction materials industry.
What You’ll Do

Learn and apply standardized testing methods and procedures under the guidance of technical staff.

Prepare materials in the lab for testing and perform a variety of lab tests.

Assist with mortar cube mixes, concrete mixes, and aggregate testing.

Provide support to technical services staff by responding to customer inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and addressing technical concerns.

Help maintain accurate records of laboratory testing and technical service interactions.

Keep work areas and equipment safe, clean, and organized.

Abide by and support all company safety policies, rules, and procedures as well as M.S.H.A. regulations.

Education & Experience

Currently enrolled in a degree program in Concrete Industry Management (CIM), Materials Science, Chemistry, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
