We're looking for an experienced and highly motivated DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic technology team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in optimizing, automating, and maintaining deployment and infrastructure processes, with a specific focus on the Microsoft Azure ecosystem. You'll be instrumental in bridging the gap between development and operations to ensure high reliability, fast deployment, and scalable systems.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Azure DevOps (Boards, Repos, Pipelines, Test Plans, Artifacts).
- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure and services within Microsoft Azure (e.g., App Service, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure SQL Database, Azure Functions, Networking).
- Develop, deploy, and manage applications using containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes (or other container systems).
- Create and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell for infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and repetitive tasks.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure applications are designed for reliability, scalability, and performance in a cloud environment.
- Implement and manage monitoring, alerting, and logging systems to ensure operational visibility.
- Ensure security best practices are integrated into all aspects of the CI/CD and infrastructure.
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- 3 years of professional experience as a DevOps Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), or similar role.
- Proven expertise in designing and managing Azure DevOps (formerly VSTS/TFS) build and release pipelines.
- Strong practical experience with Azure Cloud Services
- In-depth knowledge of containerization concepts and hands-on experience with Docker or Kubernetes.
- Excellent scripting skills, particularly with PowerShell.
- Solid understanding of networking, security, and cloud infrastructure principles.
- Experience with version control systems, especially Git.
