The Social Work Department of Capital University invites applications for a term Instructor position.
This is a full-time, non-tenure-track faculty position within the Social Work department, beginning in August 2026. While the role is principally assigned to the Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) program, the successful candidate will also teach Master of Social Work (MSW) students.

Special consideration will be given to candidates who demonstrate experience in:

- Preferred: A Doctorate in Social Work paired with an MSW from a CSWE-accredited program.
- Alternative: Applicants holding an MSW will be considered if they possess at least two years of post-graduate clinical practice experience and are eligible for an LISW license.
- A minimum of two years of teaching experience within a CSWE-accredited program.
Special consideration will be given to candidates who demonstrate experience in:
- Utilizing innovative instructional technologies (e.g., delivering distance and hybrid education.)
- Teaching BSW and MSW level coursework
- Program assessment and continuous improvement.
- Field Education coordination and seminar instruction.
- Mentoring/advising students in professional and academic pursuits.
