Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily fleet operations, including scheduling, maintenance, and repairs
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including inspection logs, maintenance schedules, and compliance documents
- Coordinate with mechanics and vendors to ensure timely, cost-effective repairs
- Monitor fleet performance and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
- Provide leadership and training to drivers, mechanics, and support staff
- Lead by example while offering clear direction and constructive feedback
- Proven experience in fleet management or a related field
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
- Solid understanding of vehicle mechanics and maintenance practices
- Excellent leadership and communication abilities
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in fleet management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred, but not required)
