DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform pre-shift forklift inspections on forklift
- Safely operate a propane sit-down forklift to move raw materials or finished products throughout the manufacturing floor, which includes, but is not limited to, keeping production line clear and running and keeping product and raw materials properly stored
- Visually inspect material for quality defects; Segregate defective product and notify supervisor
- Fill dumpsters from production floor;
- Work as a team with production and shipping team to follow all facility standard Works/processes, and improve operations
REQUIREMENTS & EXPECTATIONS
- High School Diploma or GED is Preferred
- Prior experience in a manufacturing setting preferred
- Highly motivated with a good, sound work ethic
- Prior experience operating a propane sit-down forklift or other mobile equipment (Powered Industrial Trucks)
- Must demonstrate safe working practices and possess great attention to detail
