The Patient Services Coordinator at Capital Skin Laser creates the first and last moments that define our practice—welcoming patients, anticipating needs, solving problems, and ensuring every visit runs smoothly. This position is ideal for someone who genuinely enjoys helping people while maintaining exceptional professionalism.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure all patients are greeted in a warm and friendly manner in person or over the phone
- Manage incoming calls and registration of patients; serve as an informational resource for patients to provide up-to-date information regarding the practice.
- Create, update, and verify required patient information and insurance
- Collect payments from the patient and ensure all necessary documentation is accurate and complete
- Possess complete knowledge of services and products while educating and assisting patients
- Actively educate patients about, and promote Capital Skin Laser treatments, services, and retail products
- Monitor practice stock/supplies levels, place orders with appropriate resource
- Exhibit a high degree of competence in anticipating, assessing, and driving the patient experience
- Foster the Capital Skin Laser culture by positively engaging and interacting with patients and coworkers
- Complete daily practice opening and/or closing checklists and address any issues in a timely manner using appropriate resources
- Perform clerical and other duties as assigned by manager
- Maintains patient and business confidentiality at all times following HIPAA and company policies for patient privacy
- Respect and adhere to service, safety, operational and cashiering standards, policies & procedures
- Responsible for delivering the highest quality of service to patients
Qualifications
Required:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Service industry or medical office administrative experience; excellent service sense to assist and proactively resolve problems for patients
- Strong verbal communication skills (able to positively and professionally engage with patients, team members, and management)
- Exceptional organizational skills, ability to multitask
- Willing to follow instructions and take direction
- Demonstrates a professional image and attitude to patients and co-workers
