Sr. Manager, Product Strategy

Our client in Gaithersburg, MD is seeking a strategic business and marketing leader to own and grow an insurance product portfolio. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, you’ll lead a team of employees and external partners to drive revenue growth, improve efficiency, and strengthen the long-term performance of the business in a regulated environment. What You’ll Do

• Own the P&L and set business strategy for the insurance portfolio
• Lead financial analysis, reporting, and performance optimization
• Direct strategic marketing, product management, and the member experience
• Oversee governance, fiduciary responsibilities, and risk management
• Manage a team and work closely with carriers, administrators, and other partners
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA strongly preferred
• 7–10 years of progressive business leadership with accountability for revenue, financial performance, and customer acquisition or retention
• 3–5 years managing people and external partners
• Ability to obtain Life and Property & Casualty insurance licenses within 18 months of hire
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to turn data into practical strategy
• Solid grounding in marketing concepts such as segmentation, targeting, and campaign analytics
• Excellent communication skills, including presenting to governance bodies
