- Perform general cost accounting and other related duties for the company.
- Prepare monthly balance sheets, income statements and profit and loss statements.
- Maintain the general ledger.
- Recording the cost, depreciation, and disposition of tangible and intangible fixed assets.
- Reconciliation of all accounts and monitor accounts receivable.
- File tax forms with federal, state and local government agencies.
- Provide outside auditor assistance.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in Accounts Receivable/Payable or related financial operations; construction or equipment rental industry experience preferred.
- Bachelor's degree required, CPA a plus.
- Demonstrates a strong understanding of GAAP.
- Experience in process improvement and development of Standard Operating Procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook); Sage 100 and ERP systems (Point of Rental, Rental Man) preferred.
- Highly detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential financial information with discretion.
