What You’ll Do
As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining our residential properties and ensuring residents are safe and satisfied. In this role, you’ll:
- Perform day-to-day maintenance services on residential properties, conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance
- Complete minor repairs including carpentry, plumbing, masonry, and electrical tasks
- Coordinate with contractors and residents on larger repair projects
- Maintain accurate service logs and job documentation using property management software
- Respond to after-hours emergency calls as part of an on-call rotation
- Proven experience in general maintenance and repair
- Mid-to-high-level knowledge of exterior plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work
- Strong communication skills with a professional, resident-focused demeanor
- Reliable, self-motivated problem solver with excellent time-management skills
- Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a drug screening and background check
- Physical ability to climb ladders (up to 24 ft), lift 50 lbs, and work in all weather conditions
- Ability to provide basic hand tools (larger equipment is supplied by CPS
- Availability for a rotating after-hours on-call schedule (5:00 pm–8:00 am), one week every six weeks
