About the Role
As a Project Manager, you’ll lead projects typically ranging from $5–$10 million, managing scope, schedule, budget, subcontractors, and client relationships from start to finish. You’ll own the planning, coordination, and documentation required to deliver successful projects. This role is perfect for someone who is skilled at problem-solving, communication, and managing multiple moving parts with confidence.
You Will
- Lead project execution: Manage schedules, budgets, manpower planning, and procurement for assigned projects.
- Own cost management: Track budgets, forecast costs, manage change orders, and ensure financial alignment.
- Drive documentation accuracy: Oversee RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, and project correspondence to maintain full visibility.
- Manage subcontractor performance: Coordinate scopes, review progress, address issues, and support successful field execution.
- Strengthen client relationships: Provide clear updates, facilitate OAC meetings, and ensure strong communication throughout the project.
- Support safety & quality: Partner with supers and QA/QC to ensure compliance with project standards and installation requirements.
- Identify risks early: Proactively address design issues, schedule challenges, or cost concerns.
- Ensure process integrity: Uphold company standards for documentation, reporting, and communication.
- Use project tools effectively: Maintain accurate, up-to-date information in PM platforms and scheduling tools.
- Manage project closeout: Oversee punchlist completion, final documentation, and turnover packages.
- Work as one team: Jump in to assist with other tasks when needed.
What You Bring
- 4–7 years of experience managing construction projects.
- Strong understanding of project financials, subcontractor coordination, and scheduling.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to solve problems quickly and maintain positive relationships.
Bonus Points
- Experience managing MEP-heavy or specialty construction scopes.
- Experience presenting project updates to owners or leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
